The Blue Horizon Initiative is one of the Eternal Legacy Foundation’s flagship global restoration missions — a bold effort to confront plastic pollution, restore ocean health, and inspire a new generation of marine stewards. This initiative targets the massive garbage patches formed by drifting plastics and debris, including the Great Pacific Garbage Patch — one of the largest accumulations of ocean waste on Earth.

Our mission is to heal the world’s oceans by removing plastic pollution, preventing new waste from entering marine ecosystems, and protecting the habitats that sustain life on our planet. Through advanced cleanup systems, coastal partnerships, and global education, we are working to reclaim our oceans and safeguard them for future generations.

The initiative begins with targeted cleanup operations across the Pacific, Atlantic, and Gulf regions — areas heavily impacted by plastic drift, commercial waste, and microplastic buildup. These environments are critical to planetary stability, yet face growing pressure from pollution, climate change, and declining marine biodiversity.

Together, these efforts form a global belt of renewal, connecting oceans, shorelines, and river systems under one shared goal: a cleaner, healthier, more resilient planet.

Over the next decade, the Blue Horizon Initiative is projected to remove millions of pounds of plastic waste from major garbage patches and coastal systems. Our model pairs innovative ocean cleanup technology with community engagement, education, and long-term environmental monitoring.

Each cleanup zone will serve as a living model of ocean conservation, climate restoration, and global environmental impact.
